More about the church Library

libraryOur church library offers more than 2500 items, most on the first floor next to the church office. In addition to books, the collection includes a growing number of DVDs as well as some audio titles. All materials are catalogued in the standard Dewey Decimal System. The catalog and circulation are maintained in the ResourceMate program.

Materials for children plus titles of special interest to teachers and parents are housed in a separate room on the second floor. All items are available to any patron whenever the building is open, essentially normal business days as well as Sunday mornings.

On Sunday mornings, a cart of current interest or seasonal items is available in Westminster Hall next to the sanctuary for browsing or checkout during the fellowship time following worship.

The church librarian and members of “Friends of the Library” are usually on site Monday and Thursday mornings plus other times by special arrangement. Requests for specific titles or categories of materials for classes, committee work, or personal interests are always welcome.
